About Little Beaver Studio

Little Beaver Studio is a one-person workshop building Windows desktop utilities. The guiding rule is simple: the tool should do one job well, start instantly, and never ask you to hand over your files. Every app ships through the Microsoft Store so you get verified installs and automatic updates.

Frequently asked questions

Why is the Microsoft Store the only download option?
Store distribution means the package is verified by Microsoft, installs without SmartScreen warnings, and updates itself. Direct installers and cloud-drive links have been retired to keep a single trustworthy channel.
Is there a macOS or Linux version?
No. These are Windows-only applications and there are no plans for other platforms.
The Store won't open on my work computer. What now?
Some managed environments block the Store app. Each app page includes a direct ms-windows-store link that launches the Store client, and you can also search the app name at apps.microsoft.com in a browser. If your organisation blocks the Store entirely, ask your IT team — there is no side-load installer.
Do these apps send my files anywhere?
File contents are processed locally. Two apps have clearly-labelled optional online features: the video generator uses Microsoft's Edge text-to-speech service for narration, which sends the narration script (not your images or video) to that service; the invoice and financial-report assistants can optionally call a large-language-model API using a key you supply, which sends summary figures to whichever provider you configure. Both are off unless you turn them on.
